She is a wife, homeschooling mom to her 11 year old son, and a U.S. Navy veteran, where she served honorably for 8 years.
She is a cradle Catholic, but after a period of seriously doubting the existence of God, she finds herself a revert to the faith.
Currently, she is a cantor and choir member in her parish and volunteer in the Ministry of Consolation and Compassion, also known as the Bereavement Ministry. In this ministry, she offers consolation and compassion to families who have recently lost a loved one, and she also helps them prepare for their funeral mass. In addition, she helps prepare a yearly mass for all the departed souls in her parish on November 2.
When she was in the Navy, she was a Hospital Corpsman (medic). In the civilian world, she was an IT techie. She did everything from computer repair to network design to user training to website design and development. It sure has been quite a few years since!
As a mom, she doesn’t typically homeschool. Her son is autistic and requires services beyond what she thinks she can provide. However, due to COVID-19, she is a homeschooling mom for now for her rising 6th grader. She truly believes that it is a path that God has been tugging at her heartstrings for a while, and she is finally following it.

set the world on fire.”
